Vrania was a human kingdom during the Fifth Age, located between the Iron Crags and the Bay of Thess. Approximately 30 years before the Elf Wars, it was conquered by the Witch-Queen Iggwilv who turned it into a respectable power for a human kingdom in an age when all the great empires were elven. She trained quite a number of powerful spellcasters, and her crowning achievement was the flying city of Athrain, which became the kingdom's new capital city. Near the end of the Elf Wars, both Iggwilv and Athrain mysteriously disappeared, presumed casualties of the war. As Vrania was bordered by an elven kingdom in the east and a drow kingdom in the west, neither of which cared about humans, without their capital city or queen to protect them the kingdom was quickly invaded by its neighbors who used it as a battleground to fight each other. Within a matter of months all of its cities had been razed, and virtually all of its citizens had fled or died, and Vrania effectively ceased to exist.
